All by Myself, the last exhibition of the RATS Collective at the Mouettes in Vevey, highlights the space and confronts itself with its own archive. The catalog, created as an integral part of the exhibition, is the starting point. The placement of the installation in the space is determined in relation to the desired points of view in the catalog. Retouching has allowed us to get closer to the ideal exhibition, erasing some of the imperfections of the space due to previous interventions.

During the visit of the Mouettes, the book provides an answer to the irregular rhythms of the installation, as experienced physically. It proposes a double perspective and questions the photographic archive of an exhibition.

The catalog acts as an archive for All by Myself and for the space as such. It punctuates the work of photographic archiving of the exhibitions of the RATS Collective by Julien Gremaud at Les Mouettes from 2012 to 2017.

All by Myself, dernière exposition du Collectif RATS aux Mouettes à Vevey, met en avant son espace et se confronte à sa propre archive. Le catalogue, créé de manière à faire partie intégrante de l’exposition, en constitue le point de départ. Le placement de l’installation dans le lieu est déterminé par rapport aux points de vue désirés dans le catalogue. Des retouches ont permis de s’approcher de l’exposition idéale, en effaçant certaines imperfections de l’espace dues aux interventions précédentes.

Lors de la visite des Mouettes, le livre apporte une réponse aux rythmes irréguliers de l’installation, tels que vécus physiquement. Il propose un regard double et questionne l’archive photographique d’une exposition.

Le catalogue fait office à la fois d’archive pour All by Myself et pour l’espace en tant que tel. Il ponctue le travail d’archivage photographique des expositions du Collectif RATS par Julien Gremaud aux Mouettes de 2012 à 2017.
